You are warmly invited on Friday, March 13, from 5:00 to 8:30 PM for a COC get-together at the Vleeshal. COC Zeeland organizes a monthly gathering for its members and interested visitors. This edition of the event will take place at the Vleeshal and includes an additional program in connection with the exhibition You Are Variations by Anchan/Anna Daučíková and Christina Della Giustina.

During the evening, our moderator will be in conversation with Christina Della Giustina about the exhibition and her collaboration and relationship with Anchan/Anna Daučíková. After the moderated discussion, there will be an opportunity to visit the exhibition and engage in conversation with the artist and other guests about the exhibition and queer communities.

About the exhibition

You Are Variations presents, for the first time in the Netherlands, the artistic collaboration between Anchan/Anna Daučíková and Christina Della Giustina. Both artists are active members of feminist and lesbian circles, which is reflected in their work. The exhibition looks back at their meeting in the 1990s and the years that followed, during which Daučíková and Della Giustina developed a special romantic and friendship-based relationship and created work together. You Are Variations highlights how their engagement with feminist, queer, and ecological issues continues to resonate powerfully today.
